Dessert First, Dinner Maybe...


Berry Crisp
This is the crisp I made for the potluck, if you can remember after the drunken night golfing which was a blast!!!
4 C Fresh or frozen berries
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 C Chopped pecans
1 C Coconut - unsweetened flake
3 Tbsp Coconut oil
1 tsp Cinnamon
Mix thawed or fresh berries with the lemon juice and zest put in a pie pan or any other smallish casserole dish. Make the crumble topping by melting coconut oil and mixing with the remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 for 45 min.
